An early look at the story behind Absolution

I first learned about the Tylenol murders in a PR case studies class over twenty years ago—and they stuck with me. Seven people, poisoned by something so ordinary, so trusted. No arrests. No clear answers. Just fear, loss, and silence.
Decades later, that chilling unsolved case resurfaced in my imagination—not as a headline, but as a question:What if someone knew more than they ever admitted?
That question became Absolution, my debut novel. A story about a woman on her deathbed, carrying a secret so heavy it has shaped her health, her faith, and her legacy. A story that asks: what’s the cost of silence? And is it ever too late to confess?
At the heart of the book is Helen McAllister—a devout woman no one would ever suspect of wrongdoing. And beside her is a priest, quietly unraveling beneath the weight of what he’s heard at her deathbed. I’ve always been drawn to the emotional burdens people carry, and the hidden lives they live behind closed doors.
If you love fiction that blends true crime intrigue with literary depth, I’d love to invite you to join my ARC (Advance Reader Copy) team.
I’m looking for 20 early readers to read Absolution ahead of release day (June 30) and leave a Goodreads review to help spread the word. There are still spot available.
Have a kindle, a Goodreads account, and want to read an early copy?
