FAQ

  • How can I find out about upcoming signings or readings?
All public events are posted on the Events page and announced first in my monthly newsletter, Between the Lines.
  • Do you visit book clubs—online or in‑person?
Yes! I love chatting with readers. Virtual visits (Zoom/Google Meet) are free for clubs of 6‑plus who have read the book. In‑person events within New England are possible with advance notice. Use the contact form to request a date.
  • Are you available for conferences, panels, or podcasts?
Absolutely—send the details through my media inquiry form and we’ll see if the schedules align.
  • What’s the best book to start with?
Each story stands alone, but most readers begin with Absolution (June release) and then dive into Prose and Cons (September) before enjoying the holiday novella Hurry Down the Chimney.
  • Will there be sequels or a connected series?
Short answer: maybe! Sign up for the newsletter to be the first to know when worlds overlap.
  • Do you personalize inscriptions?
Happily. Just leave the name and any short message in the order notes.
  • Can I order a signed copy?
Yes—signed paperbacks are available in limited batches twice a year. When available they will be available in my online store. Join the newsletter or watch social media for the next drop.
  • What’s your writing routine like?
Messy but persistent—mornings after the household chaos, gallons of coffee, and a daily goal of 1,000 words that can be terrible as long as they exist.
  • Where do your story ideas come from?
Old headlines, half‑heard conversations, and the question: “What happens when a woman finally says no?”
  • Are discussion guides available?
Every title has a free downloadable guide—find them under the Book Club Resources section.
  • Can I quote your books on social media?
Yes, with proper attribution (book title + my name). Quote away!
  • How do I get an advance review copy (ARC)?
ARC sign‑ups open about eight weeks before each launch. Watch the newsletter or the ARC tab for the application form.
  • What does E. E. stand for?
Emily Elizabeth, named after the great Emily Dickenson, although I have always thought I should have a giant red dog named Clifford, too.
  • Best way to stay updated?
Subscribe to Between the Lines—monthly, spam‑free, and full of extras.
